It's a hard cold fact that most businesses run at 90% all the time. We cut corners with our own stuff so that we can get back to the work that our clients pay us for, often at our own expense. Take a moment to think about this: if your computer was suddenly taken from you, how would you survive? I know of several businesses that thrive completely without the use of computers (and I have to wonder how well they would do if they added them), but most of us rely on our technology to take care of at least our back-office tasks. We use them to do our bookkeeping, our payroll, our ordering and inventory, keep our client lists and contact information, email, order product, scheduling, project management, and many other things, too. And it's not the computer that's so important, either. The data on the computer is a thousand thousand times more valuable than the simple electronic box we store it on.
I want you to think about something else, too; in many cases a Data Backup solution can cost less than a couple hundred bucks, and in a lot of those cases you may already have the equipment installed on your computer by the manufacturer.
