It's finally happened. Microsoft has gone and built a new operating system and the end-users are NOT happy. Windows Vista systems are difficult to integrate into Windows XP / Server 2003 environments, and difficult for previous computer users to navigate. Other computer manufacturers are no longer selling Windows XP machines. GCITS can still custom-build Windows XP machines for home or business environments.

Additionally, computer manufacturers attempt to shoehorn customers into pigeonholes (e.g. customers between ages 21 and 26 need Computer model B, etc.). In actuality, we at GCITS have found that customers have widely varied needs for computer capabilities. It sort of seems silly to pay for a $200 graphics card when all you are ever going to do with a computer is check your email and write MS Excel spreadsheets. By the same token, it seems just as silly to buy an expensive computer that only has a 5400 RPM hard drive in it when drive speeds will be critical for your needs.

We prefer that customers who want or need a new computer come in for a brief consultation to determine the specifications they will need. We'll then give you a quote which, if you accept it, you can have filled in less than a week.

Plus, GCITS will maintain our famous One Year Parts and Labor Warranty right here in the shop. Now, isn't that better than spending 5 hours on the phone with a low level technician in Pakistan?
